We created this blog so we can share with our family and friends the adventures of raising Darby, our daughter. Hopefully, one day, when Darby is old enough and can type faster than her mommy and daddy, She will take over this blog to share her own tales of adventure through her own eyes. As for now, people who read this are stuck with the random musings of Darby's dad and mom. Sometimes, we will attempt to write things from Darby (who is five months old) perspective. Other times, we will just write from our own hearts. We will try to include pics and post at least once a week. DO NOT give us a lot of grief if we do not post as often as you would like (previous statement is aimed directly at grandparents and Sabrina). Hopefully, this blog will make you laugh, cry, wonder why God would allow Matt to raise a child, and keep you updated on Darby's maturation (that means growth, Sabrina).
THINGS our 5 month old daughter, Darby, wonders:
- Who is making all that noise? (it is her new found voice she does not realize she controls yet)
- What is this mushy stuff that does not come in my traditional bottle? (it is cereal)
- What is that pokey stuff all over this person's face who keeps trying to get me to say, "dadadadada"?
- Why does the other person (who keeps trying to get me to say mamamamama) keep putting big things on my head? (they are called hairbows)
- What are these? (fingers and toes)
